Griffin Rockwell (xe/they) is a queer American poet. Xe enjoys writing poetry about gender and sexuality, pop culture, myth, nature, science, space, and unusual connections.
Griffin earned their MLitt in Science Fiction Studies in 2022, and xer B.A. in English (Writing) in 2015. They are currently an MFA candidate at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
In addition to attending various writing conferences and poetry festivals, Griffin has designed university and workshop curriculum, led many writing workshops, and featured in several readings. They also are a skilled tutor with 10+ years of experience, and they currently teach at the University of Iowa.
